    Before being a mechanic, I was a line service technician, AKA fueler.

    The specific FBO I worked at was mostly in shambles, but put together just enough to function.

    However, they had a problem with a leaky roof. In addition to to roof problem, they had a hangar floor that wasn’t level, which caused any standing water to flow AWAY from any drains they had.

    So most of my workdays during our rainy season would be spent having to squeegee the lake of standing water we had in the hangar to the drain pipe.

    It was not fun, to say the least.
